China Molybdenum to maintain lower aPt output

Diversified metals producer China Molybdenum plans to maintain lower than usual run rates for its ammonium paratungstate (APT) production in September, following cuts in July and August, because of a shortfall of concentrate feedstock supplies. The firm, also known as Luoyang Luanchuan Molybde- num, has seen its APT production fail to resume normal lev- els as one of its concentrate plants has remained shut since July because of technical issues. It produced 250t of APT in July and 500t in August, lower than its normal monthly output of 650t in the previous months.
