Foss announces the Dumatec~(TM) 8000, a practical instrument giving reliable Dumas analysis results at a low cost per sample and in just three minutes. The Dumas method is increasingly popular for measuring nitrogen in a broad range of food and feed products. The Dumatec 8000 offers a number of innovative features that makes the method simpler and faster for busy laboratories. Instantaneous analysis of all nitrogen resulting from the test procedure gives reliable Dumas measurements within three minutes. The innovative design avoids calibration standardisation between batches of the same sample type. This gives a fast start up time of 30 minutes. Urgent new samples can be added to the autosampler while a batch is in process.
