China's Zijin to acquire tibet Cu mine majority

Chinese state-run metals producer Zijin Mining is set to acquire a majority stake in Tibet Julong Copper, the company announced yesterday. Zijin will pay 3.88bn yuan ($548mn), of which 1.76bn yuan is a cash payment, for a 50.1pc stake in the Tibet-based company that owns the Qulong and Zhibula mining projects.
