A little thought and time in getting prepared now, could make the fall transition a little less hectic and may save some money in the long run. So some fall preparations might be: What are the markets doing - for your weight of calf or stocker in particular - at your regular sales venue? What is the grain market doing? What is the price of finished cattle and what does thefutures market predict for when your cattle will be finished?
