Zenith Steel invests in multiple digital solutions

China’s Zhongtian Iron and Steel (Zenith Steel) continues investing in the deployment of digital solutions to optimize the production process of its operations, Metal Expert learnt from the company’s statement. In March the steelmaker commissioned an intelligent control center, costing RMB 6 million (USD 925,400). The system displays real-time data on sales, purchases and product shipments, information on status of production process and environmental indicators, which secures more effective planning. Cost management system was also launched to automatically collect and analyse costs, while reducing the calculation time from 6 days to 1 day
