Analysis of cell-surface antigens of hematopoietic tumor cells by flow cytometry is an essential method for the diagnosis and typing of hematopoietic tumors. In order to classify abnormal cells, it is important to understand not only the numerical interpretation of analysis results but also the selection and combination of antibodies and gating methods. In this symposium, five specialists gave lectures and described case studies to facilitate the sharing of basic knowledge useful for the practice of flow cytometry testing for diagnoses of leukemia and malignant lymphoma.
