Sharlene Adams of Caldwell, Idaho, is living her dream. A horse lover all her life, she now owns a 45-acre ranch where she hoards horses and provides private western riding lessons. She also works with Eagle, Idaho's Sagehrush E-quine Training Center—an organization that provides riding lessons for the handicapped. As a registered instructor for the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA), Sharlene finds rewards that exceed her expectations. "I've finally found my calling in life," she says. The certification process was intense and took her a year to complete—but it was the first step in a series of Sharlene's goals.
