WorleyParsons wins Africa's oilfield development contract in Kenya

TULLOW OIL HAS awarded a contract to Australian engineering company WorleyParsons to provide services for the foundation phase of the South Lokichar onshore oilfield project in Kenya. According to Tullow, East Africa's oilfield project comprises the development of the Ngamia and Amosing fields to produce an estimated 60,000 bpd of oil which will be transported to Lamu via a 900km export pipeline.
