Merrifield Resin Supported Ionic Liquids/Iodide as an Efficient and Recyclable Catalyst for the Synthesis of Benzimidazoles

摘要

Merrifield resin supported ionic liquids/iodide as an efficient and recyclable catalystfor the synthesis of benzimidazoles has been developed.The corresponding products were isolated in good to excellent yields.In addition,the Merrifield resin supported ionic Liquids/iodi iodide ne catalyst can be recovered and recycled by a simple filtration of the reaction solutionand reused for six times without significant decreases in activity.
