The Chinese government has rolled over its full-year tung-sten mining quotas for 2020 from a year earlier. Annual quo-tas totalled 105,000t for 2020, including 78,150t for primarymining and 26,850t for recycling.China in February allocated the first batch of 2020 quotas of52,500t, including 39,075t for primary mining and 13,425t forrecycling. The first batch of quotas were allocated to 15 prov-inces, with the country’s two largest producing regions — Ji-angxi and Hunan provinces — receiving 19,725t and 12,500t,respectively, accounting for around 60pc of the total.
