China’s tungsten output fell in the first quarter as somemines reduced output in response to weaker demand cre-ated by the Covid-19 outbreak.The country produced 23,801t of tungsten concentrate con-taining 65pc tungsten trioxide during January-March 2020,down by 2pc from 24,349t a year earlier, statistics from theChina nonferrous metals industry association show.
