US Ni: spot premiums steady

US premiums for spot nickel premiums were stable during the week as LME nickel prices rose to a three-week high. Nickel premiums for full truckload melting grade, 4x4inch cathodes were assessed at 35-40￠/lb, while premiums for full truckload plating grade, 1x1inch cathodes at 60-70￠/lb, both were unchanged from the prior week.
