Galp targets 10GW of renewables capacity in 2030

Portuguese integrated energy firm Galp, which recently became the Iberian Peninsula's largest solar power player in a 2.9GW deal, is now targeting to have about 10GW of renewables capacity on line by 2030. The projects are designed to provide a natural hedge against the expected electrification of Spain and Portugal's transport sector over the next decade. Galp has earmarked 10-15pc of its total investments for development of its renewables division.
