US Cu: Premiums relatively flat

US grade A copper cathode spot premiums ticked up marginally for the week as Comex experienced a notable drop. Argus assessed grade A copper cathode premiums at 7-8￠/lb delivered Midwest consumer, relatively flat from 7-7.75￠/lb from the prior week as spot cathode business was lackluster but the drop in the exchange price prompted a slight increase in premiums. The coronavirus pressure on exchange prices continued as traders reduced risk
