Spain to anticipate 2025 goals on eU fund

Spain may be able to anticipate the intermediate 2025 esti- mated targets under its 2021-30 national energy and climate plan (NECP) in two years time, the local government said as it announced a recovery plan backed by EU funds. The Spanish government plans to use €72bn of EU funds over 2021-23 to boost its Covid-19-hit economy, of which more than 37pc will be destined to “green investments”. Some 9pc will go to investments in “energy transition”. N^Juan Weik
