Northern Rare Earth cuts April neodymium prices

Chinese producer of light rare earths Northern Rare Earth has reduced its April listed prices for neodymium oxide and metal as a result of subdued demand from the magnet sector. The company cut its neodymium prices on weaker spot demand as price hikes in the first quarter prompted magnetic material manufacturers to use more praseodymiumneodymium to reduce feedstock costs.
