Gem raises 2025 precursors sales guidance

Major Chinese battery material manufacturer Green EcoManufacture (Gem) is on track to further raise its sales of battery ternary precursors in 2025 in response to higher demand from the renewable energy sector. The firm aims to sell 400,000t of battery ternary precursors in 2025, up significantly from its sales guidance of 100,000t for 2021. It has a designed capacity of 130,000 t/yr and aims to reach 180,000 t/yr of capacity by the end of this year to meet higher demand.
