China: FeMo prices rise further

Prices for ferro-molybdenum moved higher in response to a further rise in tender prices from steelmakers and rising concentrate feedstock prices. Meanwhile, prices for ferrovanadium remained stable because of limited spot market activity. Ferro-molybdenum Domestic prices for 60pc grade alloy were assessed today at 154,000-157,000 yuan/t ex-works, or Yn257-262/kg ($40.34-41.13/kg) for contained molybdenum, up from the 21 December assessment of Yn151,000-156,000/t, following a further rise in tender prices from steelmakers, and higher concentrate feedstock prices.
