LB Group to build graphite anode material plant

China's largest titanium dioxide producer LB Group is on track to build an artificial graphite anode material plant in Jiaozuo city of middle China’s Henan province in view of rising demand from the downstream lithium-ion battery industry. The company will invest 35bn yuan ($5.47bn) in the plant, which is designed with production capacity of 200,000 t/yr of artificial graphite anode, according to its official announcement last week.
