IGO reaches 100,000t of Ni at Nova mine

Australian resources firm IGO produced the 100,000th tonne of nickel concentrate from its Nova mine in Western Australia in October-December and is on track to meet guidance of 27,000-29,000t for its July 2020-June 2021 fiscal year. The Nova mine started production in July 2017 and has established itself as the country’s largest independent nickel producer. The biggest producer is UK-Australian resources firm BHP's Nickel West unit.
