1. Business is so brisk for naval architects BMT Nigel Gee at the moment that they've had to open expanded offices in Southampton, UK to cope with a substantial increase in design work. The practice currently has 62 live projects, equating to a combined vessel length of nearly 2,600m. 2. Rolls-Royce has extended its service capability in South Korea by partnering with Busan-based ship repairer Sunjin Entech. The new service agreement means that Rolls-Royce can now support its customers at the Gupyung and Youngdo yards, Sunjin's two main repair hubs.
