Increased consumption of flat products in the country kept up production in October-November. The reached level is comparable to the output before crisis, some 2.1-2.2 mtpm. On average, production facilities in Russia were running at 77% capacity during a year. A small decrease in production at the largest steel manufacturers in the segment, MM? and NLMK, was fully made up for by higher production figures of other plants. Production at some plants hit record highs in Q4.
