Singapore—Seaborne metallurgical coal prices extended gains in the premium coking coal segment as the latest transaction was concluded at a higher level. S&P Global Platts assessed Premium Low Vol up $5.25/mt at $150.50/mt FOB Australia Jan. 26, and PLV CFR China flat at $222/mt CFR China. The spot market continued its upward momentum with ongoing demand in the global markets.
