Singapore—Seaborne metallurgical coal prices fell in the premium coking coal segment as firm offers were lowered to find buyers. S&P Global Platts assessed Premium Low Vol down 75 cents/mt at $139/mt FOB Australia, and PLV CFR China steady at $222/mt CFR China on Feb. 18. Firm offers in the spot market moved lower from the previous trading session, but failed to entice firm bids. Offers for March laycan globalCOAL HCCLV and HCCA Branded were heard at $140.50/mt FOB Australia and at $142/mt FOB Australia, down $5/mt and $4.50/mt, respectively, on the day.
