Conoco Shareholders Demand Scope 3 Targets

A majority of ConocoPhillips shareholders have demanded that the company adopt carbon emissions reduction targets that include the end-use of its products. Preliminary results from the US E&P’s annual shareholder meeting on Tuesday show that 58% of shareholders voted in favor of a resolution calling for Conoco to set emissions targets that also encompass so-called Scope 3 emissions.
