Engie and Total seek public funding for France’s largest green hydrogen plant

French firms Total and Engie are teaming to build a solar-powered, green hydrogen production plant at Total’s La Mede biorefinery near Marseille, which will supply renewable hydrogen for use in the biorefinery’s processes, the pair announced on Wednesday.
