US industry maintains optimism:Dallas Fed

US oil and gas industry executives remained upbeat in the second quarter as crude prices continued to rebound,although rising costs are a growing cause for concern,according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.The Dallas Fed's survey of 152 companies in Texas,southern New Mexico and northern Louisiana taken between 9-17 June showed activity continued to grow strongly in the past three months.The business activity index,a broad measure of business conditions,was little changed at 53 from the first quarter.
