Aramis partnership targets carbon capture, storage in Netherlands

TotalEnergies, Shell, Energie Beheer Nederland (EBN), and Gasunie say they have formed a partnership to enable large-scale carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction for industrial clusters in the Netherlands. The partnership, called Aramis, will collaborate toward the development of new transport infrastructure to enable CO2 storage in depleted ofshore gas reservoirs, it says. A fnal investment decision (FID) is scheduled by 2023, with operational start-up in 2026.
