摘要

It is well acknowledged that interfacial phenomenon between refractory and molten metal and/or slag at elevated temperature plays an important role in refractory corrosion. Comprehensive investigations on dynamic behavior of slag film and its interactive reaction with refractory are substantial for improving corrosion resistance of refractory. Remarkable contributions of Marangoni convection and wettability to refractory corrosion are reported by Mukai. Regarding wettability, Zhao et al. reported prominent contribution of carbon content in alumina-carbon substrate to contact angle between refractory and molten iron. Focusing on interfacial phenomenon between carbon containing refractory and molten slag, its characteristics are evaluated with measurement of contact angle.
