Invitation to deliver the 43rd R.V. Tamhane Memorial Lecture today in the 81s1 Annual Convention of the Indian Society of Soil Science at the Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior is truly an honour bestowed on me by the Society.I extend my sincere thanks to the Society. I also salute to Dr. Tamhane for his outstanding contributions in the field of Soil Science. Dr. Tamhane shall be remembered for times to come for his pioneer work in the conservation of soil resources and developing an organized soil testing service in the country.
