摘要

CO(2)uptake performance of an MCM-41-type mesoporous silica material (M-SiO2) from inexpensive coal gangue was thoroughly studied. Results showed that its CO(2)uptake was physical, exothermic, entropy driven, and spontaneous with decreasing entropy. And Langmuir and Freundlich models well described the CO(2)uptake process, which showed that the CO(2)uptake was a multilayer uptake at 298.15 K, while there was monolayer uptake at 308.15 and 318.15 K.
