RETROFIT: Enfield sets aside ￡3m for social housing 'deep retrofit'

Enfield Council has set aside more than ￡3m in funding to retrofit 36 council homes with energy-efficient fabric and heating solutions as part of a regional refurbishment strategy. The planned work to perform whole-house retrofits of properties the council manages in the wards of Edmonton Green, Upper Edmonton and Haselbury will be undertaken with support from a range of low-carbon schemes backed by either central government or the Mayor of London's Office.
