This year, the two-day congress has something for everyone, from medical to surgical to nursing plans and techniques. We have incorporated topics that will interest the newly qualified to the more senior nurses. Our Sunday practicals have been so popular in the last number of years that we have added a third practical session this year. The lectures are based on topics that IVNA members requested were presented at the congress. This year, the Saturday night gala dinner with award presentations has changed to a more relaxed atmosphere of a barbeque and a few drinks, with the award ceremony for Veterinary Nurse of the Year, Student Nurse of the Year and Support Staff of the year, each winning a trophy and a voucher. The IVNA is looking forward to welcoming local, as well as a host of international speakers.
