Tructyre opens Customer Experience Centre in Gateshead

National truck tyre maintenance and emergency support company Tructyre has completed the opening of its Gateshead Customer Experience Centre. The centre has created 100 new jobs in the area. The team has been recruited and trained over the last six months since the centre opened in August 2020. The centre handles all calls and administration for Tructyre's customers nationwide. Tructyre said the ramp-up of the centre had been challenging during the coronavirus pandemic. It introduced strict safety requirements to allow the team to train together in a purpose-built training centre. They now work in a building that was designed from the start to be as Covid-secure as possible.
