In April we touched on improvingconditions in the fluid power sector and wewant to expand on that a bit this month.The fluid power sector, since 2013, peakedat about the end of 2014 and hasexperienced about a 12% decline since thatpoint. While we’ve not measured thecorrelation directly, it is clear that there is ahigh correlation between activity in the agand heavy equipment sector and fluidpower. As proof, we point you to Deerefinancial data for the last few years. Deeresales grew from ’12 – ’13 by about 5% andthen declined by about 5% in the next year.
