In China, Nine Dragons plans 500,000 tonnes/yr of new wood pulp capacity at Chongqing mill

Nine Dragons Paper (Holdings), the largest packaging board producer in Asia, is planning to add 500,000 tonnes/yr of wood pulp capacity to its existing mill in China’s southwestern municipality of Chongqing. An environmental impact assessment (EIA) report on the scheme was published two weeks ago, and is now open to feedback from the public.
