DS Smith has bought the family-owned Romanian group EcoPack and EcoPa-per, which laid down a new paper machine in 2017, and which specialises in high quality lightweight paper. Also, the company announced that the Trakia Paper Mill in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria, has achieved FSC Chain of Custody Certification. Dunapack Rambox of Romania signed an agreement to purchase 11.5ha land for the setup of a greenfield corrugated packaging plant in the Bucharest area.
