摘要

The Journal recently reported the results of a retrospective observational study in which the investigators documented nonfatal and fatal cardiovascular disease events in continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) compliant obstructive sleep apnea patients [1] at a university hospital in Finland. The "CPAP Compliant Investigators" [1] found that CPAP compliant obstructive sleep apnea patients experienced fewer adverse cardiovascular events than did a pairwise-matched control group which received minimal to no CPAP.
