Training of a vehicle banksman is poor or non-existent in too many businesses warns Laura Nelson, managing director of RTITB, the UK's preferred workplace transport training accrediting body. Proper training is about far more than turning up and getting a certificate. Although businesses are increasingly insisting on training which changes behaviour for the better and genuinely confirms an employee's abilities, when it comes to banksman training, many businesses are still failing to deliver.
