Cisternography Showed CSF Leakage on SPECT/CT

A 36 year-old male who was a tennis player often used the smash technique. He had no history of traumatic injuries and was in his usual state of good health until two weeks ago. He started to complain of headache, especially with changes in body position. Neurologic examination showed papilledema + /+, symmetric hypoactive deep tendon reflex, fair gait and stance. A cisternography using intrathecal injection of Tc-99m DTPA showed EBF (early bladder filling) of tracer within 1 hour of delivery, LCF (lack of high convexity filling) at 24 hours after delivery, and CSF leakage in the neck/skull base area. The SPECT/CT proved a CSF leakage between the 1st and 2nd cervical vertebrae.
