ZnS Nanoparticles Embedded in Novel Polyurethane and Their Sensing Property to Ni2+

摘要

ZnS nanoparticles embedded in novel polyurethane (PU) have been synthesized via in situ polymerization. PU/ZnS nanocomposite films have been characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Differential scanning calorimetry, and Scanning electron microscopy. Their fluorescence properties have been studied. Stable and strong emission of the samples is observed. The emission wavelength of the PU/ZnS film is 302 nm, and the high-efficiency fluorescence of the composite films is assigned to the luminescence centers of the ZnS nanoparticles. Fluorescence results reveal that the PU/ZnS nanocomposite films are sensitive to Ni2+. A simple, rapid, and specific sensor for Ni2+ has been proposed. The films may exhibit potential in the monitoring and selection of liquid-phase Ni(II) in the future.
