Notification Number: 2020/648/A - End of Standstill Period: 15/01/2021 - AMA Quality Seal Guidelines for cattle farming, version 2021:The AMA Quality Seal Guidelines for cattle farming is amended:Qplus cattle module:The voluntary Qplus cattle module is realigned with a focus on animal health. On the basis of animal health data (inspection and findings data), targeted measures are planned to improve both animal health and meat quality on the farm. Regarding calf farming in the Qplus cattle module, a distinction is made between whole milk feeding (light whole milk veal and standard whole milk veal) and veal production with a prompt switch to roughage, known as 'rose veal'. Amendment to Annex 4 - Quality pro-grammes/AMA fresh meat slaughtering criteria: The 'June 2017' version is replaced by the 'July 2019' version.
