Bull bonus, marketing workshop, and annual meeting highlights

Nova Scotia has so far experienced a fairly mild winter, with luckily not too many storms this year. Hopefully spring is approaching quickly, as I am sure we are all eager to get out on the fields. The Nova Scotia Cattle Producers (NSCP) has been busily planning meetings and events, even though nearly all communications have been moved online.Thank you to all who attended the 2021 Zone meetings in early January. This year's meetings were held online via Zoom, which we realize was not ideal, but was the safest delivery method for all involved. Despite being held virtually, there was still a good turnout overall. Since we could not have Dr. Claire Windeyer in-person, as she lives in Alberta, we played pre-recorded content that she had compiled with the University of Alberta. Her presentation focused on the continuation of previous years' content: Calving andEarly Health.
