Keppel and GTT take FLNG vessel orders

Singapore-based shipbuilder Keppel Offshore and Marine and French engineering firm GTT are receiving more orders for floating liquefaction (FLNG) vessels. Keppel expects to receive an order from London-listed Ophir Energy to proceed with the 120,600m3 Gandria FLNG conversion once a final investment decision (FID) is taken on the 2.2mn t/yr Fortuna export project in Equatorial Guinea. The project FID was delayed to the second half of this year.
