NSR to reopen in April-May: Novatek

The Northern Sea Route (NSR) will open for its summer navigational period in April or early May, LNG project operator Novatek said on 18 February. This is earlier than last year, when the frst vessel to transit the passage left the 16.5mn t/yr Yamal LNG facility in the second half of May, and in previous years when transit started in June.
