National pipeline frm PipeChina may have awarded as many as 100 LNG import slots for deliveries at its terminals this year, but the increased access is unlikely to translate into an equivalent volume of spot cargo imports if frms are obliged to absorb state-controlled importers’ expensive long-term contract deliveries.
