Novatek’s Ust-Luga upgrade approved

Federal engineering regulator Glavgosekspertiza has approved an upgrade project at Novatek’s 6mn t/yr condensate fractionation plant and export terminal com- plex at the Baltic port of Ust-Luga. The frst development phase includes the addition of 160,000m~3 of new stor- age capacity in four 40,000m~3 steel tanks — two for stable gas condensate and two for naphtha. Stage two of the upgrade plan includes the construction of a 3mn t/yr condensate fractionation unit.
