erex aims handling 10mn t/yr of biomass by 2030

Japanese renewable power frm Erex is aiming to handle 10mn t/yr of biomass by 2030, expanding its sales to other power producers that need biomass to co-fre with coal to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Erex has set a 10mn t/yr target in its latest strategy, which includes consumption on its own and by others. The 2030 target is double the 5mn t/yr goal by 2025.
