CC-Link IE has provided a high-speed networking solution, with a large data capacity, for an innovative semiconductor moulding machine. The TOWA Corporation of Japan, a manufacturer of semiconductor production equipment since 1979, has always pursued the development of innovative products for semiconductor manufacturing. This was acknowledged when its innovative new CPM1080 moulding machine, which was launched early in 2016, was recently awarded the "Semiconductor of the Year 2016 Grand Prix" in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment division.
