The oldest representatives of the Pilaria (Diptera, Limoniidae) genus from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber, northern Myanmar

The oldest representatives of Pilaria Sintenis, 1889 (Diptera, Limoniidae), ca. 99 Ma (earliest Cenomanian), have been discovered in Burmese amber of northern Myanmar. Two new species have been described, Pilaria magdalena sp. nov. and Pilaria wojciechi sp. nov.
